RFP: Vermont Community Broadband Board (VCBB)
The Vermont Community Broadband Board (VCBB) seeks to enter into a contract with one or more companies or organizations to provide strategic program development services, research and data analysis, community outreach and engagement, and writing services to facilitate the development of Vermont’s 5-Year Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) and State Digital Equity Plans and Vermont’s Initial Proposal for funding under the BEAD Program that meets the requirements set forth by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Internet for All Programs. The work primarily involves community outreach and engagement, and strategic program development. Contracts will be for one year beginning in April 2023. RFP: Ohio - The Western Reserve Port Authority
“The Western Reserve Port Authority (“Port”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a study to analyze the proposed completion of a fiber optic loop that will provide high-speed broadband service to regional businesses and historically underserved communities to aid in the region's ongoing equitable economic recovery. The Trumbull County Broadband Preliminary Engineering Study (“Study”) will help implement the recommendations of Eastgate's Regional Broadband Feasibility Study and ensure digital equity in the coal-impacted communities of Eastern Ohio Appalachia's Mahoning Valley. The study area encompasses multiple Opportunity Zones.

RFP: QUEST Ohio Broadband and 5G Regional Node
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) releases this Request for Grant Applications (RFGA) for the purpose of soliciting applications from public or private four-year colleges or universities and their implementation partners to carry out Ohio’s broadband and 5G workforce strategy in their Jobs Ohio region. Selected applicants will be responsible for forming partnerships and carrying out activities to fulfill the three (3) pillars of the workforce strategy:
1) to increase broadband industry career awareness;
2) to establish and scale education and training programs; and
3) to capitalize on state and federal funding mechanisms to reduce costs and bring solutions to market quickly
